LewisGale Physicians welcomes its newest member Dr. James Leipzig, Spine Surgeon.

Dr. Leipzig treats patients who have not responded to nonsurgical treatments for cervical and lumbar spinal disorders. In treating patients, he specializes in both microsurgery and minimally invasive surgical techniques.

Dr. Leipzig has been part of our southwest Virginia community (namely Roanoke and Salem) for nearly 20 years, with thousands of patients turning to him for spine surgery. As part of LewisGale Regional Health System, he performs surgery at LewisGale Medical Center, which has been named by Healthgrades as one of America’s Top 100 Best Hospitals for Spine Surgery for 2014.
